In my work it's important that you see the hand print on it. It's not the mugs, plates and pots you find on everyday market and should not be.
I also include in my work things that matter to me like breakfast cereal plates should be perfect for hand or mugs to be enough big so you have enough time to sip on during your mornings without any rush.

SOAP HOLDERS
I've loved soap holders since I was little. They are useful everyday items that people need and they can bring charm and beauty to people's homes. Adding the soap in the holder is the finishing touch, and one can play with colors and shapes.
I use a lot of Raku technique on my soap holders. I like to experiment with different things, kind of like looking for the perfect one. For bigger soap holder I use a rock as a mold.

Sgraffito, meaning 'to scratch' in Italian, is a decorating technique in ceramics. It is done by applying layers of colors like underglazes, engobe, or colored clay slip and then scratching parts to create pictures on the surface. To me, this reminds me of black and white photography work, and maybe that's why I love it.
The sgraffito I do is mainly intuitive work, and it comes out as it's meant to. The result can be quite surprising. In my sgraffito work, you can see my love for Lapland and my Gypsy and Shaman heritage, showing a part of it.
